Tired of being tired?

HOME SLEEP STUDY

A Home Sleep Test (HST) is an overnight unattended sleep study performed in the comfort ones home. Testing is performed by the user, and the data stored on the equipment is uploaded the following day at Executive Sleep Solutions.

ORTHODONTICS FOR SLEEP APNEA

Orthodontic care, including braces, has been shown to help treat obstructive sleep apnea by correcting alignment problems with the jaw. When the jaw is properly aligned, the airway is less likely to become obstructed by the tissues in the mouth.

DRUG INDUCED SLEEP NASAL ENDOSCOPY

A powerful tool for studying the dynamic airway in a sleeping patient with obstructive sleep apnea. Patients receive sedation administered by an anesthesiologist. As patients begin to snore and have some blockage of their breathing, an ENT surgeon passes a flexible telescope through the nose in order to evaluate the throat and observe the potential blockage. Using the knowledge gained from sleep endoscopy, the surgeon can tailor treatment to the patient's specific condition.

COMBINATION THERAPY

Combining CPAP therapy and oral appliance therapy, we can effectively  help sleep apnea patients achieve optimal results. The therapies work together, creating a more comfortable overall experience. Without an oral appliance, patients must use their CPAP at the highest setting possible to achieve similar results, which can lead to general non-compliance. Combined therapy allows the CPAP to be set to a lower, more comfortable setting, and still achieve the same great improvements in their condition.

3D PRINTED ORAL APPLIANCE

Oral appliance therapy is a first-line treatment for snoring, Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome, and mild to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea. It is a safe and effective alternative to CPAP therapy and is often preferred by those who are unable to tolerate CPAP therapy.

MATRX SLEEP STUDY

A comprehensive titration study in the sleep lab which determines whether a patient is a suitable candidate for oral appliance therapy and predicts the therapeutic target protrusive position of the lower jaw.

VIRTUAL SURGICAL PLANNING

Computer aided simulation, providing preoperative insight into the dental and skeletal movements anticipated, bone orientation and positioning, and accurate transfer of the virtual plan to the correction of the malocclusion and dentofacial deformity.

3D AIRWAY SCAN

A Cone Beam CT where the airway volume is calculated and surface mapped for detailed evaluation and treatment planning.

BALLOON SINUPLASTY

An ENT surgeon opens inflamed sinuses in the same way a Cardiologist will open blocked arteries during balloon angioplasty. The procedure is less invasive than traditional sinus surgery, yet effective at relieving symptoms of chronic sinusitis. Balloon Sinuplasty allows patients to return to normal activities quickly. Unlike traditional sinus surgery, it does not remove bone or tissue from the nose.

JAW SURGERY

The major contributor to the cause of Obstructive Sleep Apnea is an underlying jaw abnormality that narrows or obstructs the patient’s airway. A sleep professional may recommend corrective jaw surgery when other treatment options have been unsuccessful in alleviating the symptoms of sleep apnea. MMA surgery is the most effective surgical cure of Obstructive Sleep Apnea with a success rate greater than 90%. MMA involves moving both the upper and lower jaws forward to enlarge and stabilize the upper airway and tighten the tongue and other soft tissues.
